I bought a X200s with Windows 7 Pro 64bit installed. Later I purchased an Intel SSD to replace the hard drive. I tried making a bootable usb drive with the recovery software on it. However the usb drive shows 'No OS Found' or something similar when I try to boot from it with the F12 key. So that didn't seem to be such a problem as I have a Windows 7 Pro 64bit OEM DVD (bought from NewEgg) from my desktop. I was able to install and the DVD accepted my ThinkPad COA. Download I have a new HP 8560p Laptop with Windows 7 Pro OA SEA. Download windows 7 pro oa. If there are Windows 7 drivers, then download to a folder on your hard drive and. Windows 7 Pro OA - Toshiba. Windows 7 IT Pro > Windows 7 Installation, Setup, and Deployment. But I'm not sure how to do the Windows 7 download. Download Windows 7 software and driver updates for your computer from HP (SoftPaqs) and store them on a USB drive or burn them to disc. For more information on downloading software from HP, see Obtaining Software and Drivers. But now it won't activate. The COA on the computer reads 'Windows 7 Pro OA'. Does anyone know what the OA signifies and what media it is compatible with? Can it be activated with my current DVD if I phone Microsoft? Wrote: The COA on the computer reads 'Windows 7 Pro OA'. Does anyone know what the OA signifies and what media it is compatible with? Hi there I found one site that claimed that 'OA' meant 'online activation'. But that does not make too much sense for a manufacturer, and how would this 'online activation' differ from any other activation done through the Internet? 'Offline Activation' would be more practical. Please keep us posted as to your findings. I might be trying to do something similar later, and would like to know if the COA has a valid product key for activation. Hello to all can someone please explain how do i proceed, i bought a LENOVO SL410 in hongkong and everything has serial code, purchase number etc etc but the WINDOWS 7 PRO OA is pre-installed and the shop does not give any hard copy of windows 7 pro OA or recovery disk because the default is pre-installed at the factory, now i changed my hardisk to bigger capacity but since the store of my LENOVO SL410 doesnt give me a CD, can anyone who can help where do i request a a license cd or where do i email to the store, lenovo support or to microsoft??? Regards Myron. > can anyone who can help where do i request a a license cd or where do i email to the store, lenovo support or to microsoft??? Hi there Borrow a Win7 DVD or download the image from the web. Then search the web for the procedure to enable all versions of Win7 on one DVD. (Skip if the version on DVD is already Pro.) Burn a new DVD for Win7. Install Win7 Pro using the DVD. Skip the step for entering the product key during the install. Once the install is complete, use Windows Update. Most of the devices should then have drivers. Get any missing drivers and ThinkVantage utilities from the Lenovo support web site. Then activate your copy of Win7 Pro (within 30 days) using the product key off the COA. The activation will fail, and you will then have to call Microsoft (it's toll-free in the USA, don't know about international) like wing044 mentioned. It's an automated voice system. You give the system about 20-something digits off your screen. There are no other questions or explaining for the 'phone activation'. You get back about 30-something digits to type in. Then activation should be complete. I have an HP ProBook 4720s that has had its hard drive go to the great beyond. I do not have a recovery disk or the original manufacturers recovery disk. I have the intact OEM license sticker on the bottom of the laptop, but I cannot find an iso file for this anywhere. Any chance one of you disk hoarders has one?
